A black blizzard of death-laden d-beat, heavy on the hardcore influence, heavy as a really heavy thing. While replete with the mandatory, quasi-triumphal crust melodies, those melodies often veer towards doom, and then even more frequently erupt in atonal, tremolo-picked maelstroms. While the stylistic elements of these compositions remain fairly discrete, a shattering crunch underpins it all, urged on by a chest-bursting rhythm section and positively bombastic production. Satisfying riffs ensure engagement, and the deft stylistic shifts make sure you experience every sort of crushing execution. This is no genre Frankenstein, however; the vision is clear and present, unified by lacerated vocals and fiery social purpose. The world is shit, so enjoy some explosive, timely cyclogenesis.
